Success on Cho Oyu!

On October 13th at 10AM our guides, Anthony & Liz Marra managed to reach the summit of Cho Oyu (8188m / 26,864’)! Cho Oyu is the 6th tallest mountain on earth and is typically climbed from Tibet. Anthony and Liz were part of their own independent team working with Snowy Horizons Treks & Expeditions as basecamp support. They managed to reach the summit without sherpa support. It was an epic journey filled with many challenges due to the monsoonal rains, political climate and in Nepal & China and the tough weather in early October. More information to come.

A quick summit picture. Their phones froze on top due to -31Degree temperatures.
