I'm a novice hiker with no mountaineering experience and a moderate level of fitness. I've lived in Bellingham and dreamed of climbing Mount Baker for decades. Our guide (the owner) Anthony is a very knowledgeable and accommodating mountaineer. Overall a great guide to work with. Personally I have done 4 trips with him to this date and will keep coming back. He taught rope rescue in a way that was interactive and made me and my group confident in our abilites to act if someone went wrong. His medical skills/knowledge, weather considerations, and positive attitude are more reasons he is essential to have in the backcountry or in any rugged terrain.
