The Brothers - Normal Route

Overview

The starting point for this route is the Lena Lake trail just outside of Hoodsport, WA. The trail follows gentle slopes through forest to reach the shores of the beautiful Lena Lake. Above the lake, the trail gets slightly more difficult to follow, but is still adequately marked. Once The Brothers Base Camp is reached, we ascend through a burned forest to reach the scree and snow slopes below the summit. After ascending the moderately steep snow slopes, it is just a short scramble to the summit where you will be treated with spectacular views of the Olympics, Cascades and the Hood Canal.
